Share (and remove) a personal skill with your organization

In your Skill Wallet, you can add personal skills and choose whether or not to share them with the organization you are connected to. Sharing a skill makes additional competencies visible—skills that are not part of the assigned qualification but may be valuable for your professional growth. You can also revoke the sharing at any time.

Why share a personal skill

Sharing a personal skill is useful for:

making additional competencies visible that the organization does not yet know about;
showing skills developed through personal, educational, volunteer, or hobby experiences;
being considered for new projects, internal tasks, or opportunities;
enhancing your professional profile beyond the assigned qualification.

Sharing is always your choice: the organization can only see the skills you decide to share.

How to share a personal skill

Open your Skill Wallet.
Go to the All skills section of your profile.
If the skill does not yet exist, click Create new skill.
Open the skill card.
Click the actions menu (⋮).
Select Share with organization.
Confirm.

Where the shared skill appears

In your Wallet, under the Other shared skills section.
In the company’s view of your profile, in the section dedicated to shared skills.

Note
The shared skill is not automatically added to the organization’s All skills library: it remains linked only to your profile.

How to stop sharing a personal skill

Open your Skill Wallet.
Go to the All skills section or to the Other shared skills area.
Open the skill card.
Click the actions menu (⋮).
Select Remove sharing with organization.
Confirm.

What happens after removing sharing

The skill remains in your Wallet as a personal skill.
The skill is no longer visible to the organization.
Any previous company evaluations remain in your Wallet as part of your personal history, but are no longer visible to the organization.

Useful rules

Sharing can be enabled or revoked at any time.
The organization cannot edit or delete a personal skill.
You can continue adding personal evidence to the skill even after sharing it.
Company evaluations remain in your Wallet as part of your personal history.
