Create, review, and assign skills and qualifications
What qualifications are
Qualifications represent the organizational roles defined within Dokimazo. Each qualification is linked to a set of target skills that employees must possess or develop.
Each qualification includes:
- a title (e.g., “Project Manager”, “Junior Developer”);
- a role description;
- the target skills to achieve or maintain;
- an optional referent who reviews and validates the qualification before assignment.
Qualifications serve as a reference for mapping company skills and managing training and professional growth.
Create a new qualification with the help of Dokipilot
The Talent Lead can create a new qualification in just a few steps. Dokipilot helps identify target skills based on the role’s title or description.
- Go to Qualifications in your organization.
- Click on Create new qualification.
- Enter the title and description.
- Activate Dokipilot to receive suggested target skills.
- Select the suggested skills or add new ones.
- Optionally assign a referent to review the qualification.
- Save.
The qualification will then be available for assignment to connected employees.
Assigning target skills to a qualification
Each qualification consists of a set of target skills — the competencies expected for that role.
When creating or editing a qualification, you can:
- accept Dokipilot suggestions (based on title/description);
- select existing skills already available in the platform;
- add new skills manually if needed.
Useful rules
- Target skills can be updated at any time.
- If the qualification is already assigned, changes will be visible to connected employees.
- Keep consistency between the number of skills and the responsibilities of the role.
Involving a referent to review qualifications
Each qualification may have a referent — an organizational user who reviews the title, description, and target skills before assignment.
To add a referent:
- Go to Dashboard > Qualifications.
- Create a new qualification or open an existing one.
- Select Invite referent and enter their email address.
- Once accepted, the user becomes a referent only for that qualification.
Useful rules
- A referent is linked only to the qualification they are assigned to.
- You can change or remove the referent at any time.
- The same user can act as referent for multiple qualifications (if invited).
Assign a qualification to employees’ Wallets
Qualifications created by the organization can be assigned to connected employees — the qualification and its target skills become part of their Skill Wallet.
- Go to Dashboard > Qualifications.
- Select the qualification to assign.
- Click on Invite employees.
- Enter their email or select from already connected users.
- Confirm: the employee will receive an invitation and, once accepted, the qualification will appear in their Wallet.
Useful rules
- Talent Leads and Referents can invite employees to receive a qualification.
- In the employee’s Wallet, all linked target skills will appear.
- Skills can later be enriched with personal evidences and company evaluations.
Monitor the status of target skills
Once assigned, the qualification allows monitoring employee progress on the defined target skills.
In the qualification view, you can:
- see how many target skills are already present in the employee’s Wallet;
- track the validation level of each skill (self-assessments, experiences, learning outcomes, company evaluations);
- identify potential skill gaps with the help of Dokipilot.
This gives you an always up-to-date view of company skills.
Revoke or update a qualification
The Talent Lead can revoke or update an assigned qualification to adapt it to organizational changes.
Update
- Go to Dashboard > Qualifications.
- Select the qualification assigned to the employee.
- Edit the title, description, or target skills.
- Save: the employee will see the updates in their Wallet.
Revoke
- Open the qualification view.
- Select Revoke.
- Confirm: the qualification will be removed from employees’ Wallets.
Useful rules
- Updates are immediately visible to all connected employees.
- Revocation removes the qualification from the Wallet but does not delete evidences linked to each skill.
