Referent of Qualification

In Dokimazo, each qualification can have one or more Referents, who support the Talent Lead in defining and reviewing target skills and in evaluating employees. A Referent is linked only to the qualifications they are assigned to, but can access the full library of company skills to help build the qualification accurately.

Who can be a Referent

A Referent is typically:

the business manager responsible for the people who will receive the qualification, with deep knowledge of the role’s activities and needed competencies;
an external consultant supporting the company in competency modeling and development structures;
a professional trainer involved in defining target skills or aligning the qualification with a training path.

What the Referent does

The Referent can:

review the qualification’s title, description, and target skills;
evaluate skills of employees who receive that qualification;
browse all company skills to associate relevant ones even if they were not originally included;
view skills and evidence in the Wallets of employees assigned to the qualification;
contribute to updating the qualification as activities and responsibilities change.

The Referent cannot:

create or delete skills from the company library;
invite people to the organization;
manage qualifications they are not assigned to.

How to add a Referent

Method 1 — While creating a qualification

Go to Qualifications.
Create a new qualification.
Click Invite referent.
Select a person already connected to the organization.
Save to confirm.

Method 2 — From an existing qualification

Open the qualification.
Go to the Referents section.
Click Add referent.
Select the person from the list.
Confirm the addition.

How to remove a Referent

Open the qualification.
Locate the Referent in the list.
Open the action menu (⋮).
Select Remove referent.
Confirm the action.
