How to create and customize areas of expertise in the Wallet
To start using the Skill Wallet, customize your areas of expertise. In a few steps, you can log in, set up your main information, and begin building your Wallet.
How to customize your profile
Once you've entered the Wallet, you can start to customize your user profile. At the top of the screen, you'll find a section dedicated to your public identity.
Profile structure in the Skill Wallet
The user profile consists of 4 possible areas of expertise:
- Personal description: a text that describes your journey for that specific area.
- Areas of expertise: used to differentiate the various fields in which you operate (visible with different colors in the UI).
- Top Skills: two skills you have chosen to highlight (editable at any time).
- Skill Sets: thematic collections of skills, which describe your specializations.
- All your skills: complete list of acquired or assigned competencies, with any evidence or validations.
Editing, updating, and deleting areas of expertise
To update an area of expertise:
- Click the button “Edit” next to the description.
- Update any field and save the changes.
- You can modify and rewrite your information as many times as you want.
- To delete the area, click the "Delete" button in Edit. The default blue area cannot be deleted
You can create a maximum of 4 areas of expertise in the Skill Wallet.
Visibility and privacy
Your profile is private by default
You can decide whether to:
- Make the Wallet public using the dedicated button.
- Share only certain skills or certain skill sets.
- Show only validated competencies or all those in progress.
You always have complete control over what is shown and to whom.
