How to add skills to your Wallet
The Skill Wallet lets you add and manage the skills you’ve gained in your professional, educational, or personal life. You can enter them with Dokipilot’s support, add them manually, or receive them from an organization.
Importing Skills with the Support of Dokipilot
The Dokipilot is your intelligent assistant for building your Wallet.
It can help you:
- Extract skills directly from a CV by clicking on "Import skills from your CV" in the dashboard.
- Suggest skills based on uploaded evidence by clicking on "Create evidence with Dokipilot" in the “Evidences” section.
- Identify new skills you want to acquire by clicking on "Create skill with Dokipilot" in the “All Skills” section.
You can always edit or remove skills added via AI later.
Adding a Skill Manually
You can manually enter new skills in two ways:
Create or Add a New Skill in the Skill Wallet
- Access the profile of the Skill Wallet where you want to add the skill.
- Scroll down to the All Skills section and click on "Add skill".
- Choose whether to add an existing skill to this profile or create a new one.
- Add existing skill: Select one or more existing skills from the list and click "Add".
- Create new skill: Fill in the form with Title, Description, and Type, then click "Save".
Create a New Skill in the “All Skills” Section
- Go to the “All Skills” section.
- Click on “Create skill manually”.
- Fill in the form with Title, Description, and Type, then click "Save".
If you create new skills, they will automatically be saved under the Skills to validate tab. Once validated, they will move to the Acquired Skills tab.
If you add existing skills, they will appear in the Wallet tab corresponding to their current validation status.
Receiving Skills from an Organization
Skills can also be assigned by an organization (company, training provider, etc.) connected to your Wallet. These skills are included in an organizational "Qualification" shared with you.
In this case:
- You will receive a notification or a request for approval.
- The assigned skills will be visible in the shared section with the organization.
- You can enrich them with personal evidence and receive evaluations from your organization.

Classification and Organization of Skills
Each skill can be:
- Labeled by type (ability/knowledge): Knowledge refers to what you know, while abilities refer to what you can do. Often, a skill combines one or more types of knowledge and one or more practical abilities—knowing how to apply theory in practice.
- Associated with a skill set (thematic groups of skills): You can group skills however you prefer—for example, by transversal areas (e.g., “My digital skills”) or by structuring a broader skill made of different components (e.g., “Reading music,” which includes note recognition and fast transcription).
- Linked to an evidence: The process of connecting a skill to an evidence is called “validation.” The more validated evidence you have, the stronger and more credible your skill becomes.
- Marked as a “Top Skill” if you want to highlight it at the top of your profile.
